Taking charge of risk management and system assurance, he effectively inducts, coaches, challenges, and motivates those around him, while providing mentorship and supervision for a range of critical responsibilities. Working as a school/PE teacher, and aquatic coach before transitioning to the construction industry for 12 years, Brett’s extensive working profile as an HSE Advisor and Manager for 25+ multi-million-dollar projects across Queensland allows him to apply his long-term experience and knowledge in all his endeavours at SIERA. Brett holds a diverse range of qualifications, including but not limited to a Bachelor of Education (PD/Health/OE) with Honours, a Diploma of Work Health & Safety, a Certificate III in TAE, multiple on-site construction certifications, as well as a High-Risk Work license, Standard 11 with QLD Coal Board Medical, and Advanced First Aid & Resuscitation training. Beyond the construction and delivery of each project, it is Angus’ relentless service and communication with our owners that ensures our SIERA service extends long beyond the day of handover.
