Our Story - -

Siera Group is a boutique residential property developer and builder, specialising in medium-density housing and bespoke homes in South-East Queensland. Established in Brisbane in 2014, every effort has been directed towards achieving excellence in design and construction, and establishing authentic relationships with consultants, and communities.

From the beginning

2014

Siera GROUP IS ESTABLISHED

Brent founded Siera Group in 2014 with the amalgamation of two properties in Carina, where he delivered a boutique collection of 10 terrace homes.

First terrace home development, Precedence, is completed in Carina.

10 Luxurious 3 & 4 Bedroom Townhouses in Carina. These townhouses feature open plan living with ensuites to all bedrooms.

Siera recieves it’s second HIA award for outstanding compliance with regulations and standards in the residential building industry.

Accepted as a UDIA Development Member. Brent Thompson receives UDIA Queensland Young Leaders Award.

Having started as a carpenter, then moving into site supervision and construction management before starting Siera Group in 2014 Brent receives the UDIA young leaders award for excellence in Siera’s first year as a UDIA QLD member.

Siera Group expands to the Gold Coast.

Having stamped it’s reputation on the Brisbane residential market, Siera acquires a highly sought-after location on Chevron island.

Tapesty, Chevron Island is launched. A blueprint of growth for Siera Group.

Siera Group lodges plans for its maiden development on the Gold Coast, a $75-million 17-storey apartment tower on Chevron Island. Siera collaborates with architecture firm BDA to produce 83 two and three-bedroom apartments with world-class building facilities.

Founder & Director

"It is a great responsibility and tremendous privilege to be able to identify, design and deliver our projects for future residents, the greater community and generations to come."

Brent is highly regarded within Brisbane’s property industry, receiving the Urban Development Institute of Australia (UDIA) Queensland Young Leaders Award in 2018. In 2020 he was appointed to UDIA Queensland's Board of Directors. Brent is also currently serving as the Chair of the UDIA’s Brisbane City Council Policy Committee. He is a Qualified Carpenter and holds an Open Builders License, allowing him to identify efficiencies in construction and design and deliver developments that offer unprecedented amenity and value.

Angus is responsible for the delivery of the construction of each of Siera Groups projects. A qualified carpenter by trade whose attention to detail and work ethic has ensured that the vision for each Siera project is realised and our systems and procedures for the delivery of each project are continually refined and improved. Beyond the construction and delivery of each project it is Angus’ relentless service and communication with our owners that ensures our Siera service extends long beyond the day of handover. Angus is a foundational member of the Siera Group team and has helped to craft our legacy to date.

JARROD MCINALLY

Jarrod is a qualified carpenter by trade who applies a methodical and tireless work ethic to ensuring that our developments are managed and planned in a manner that is synonymous with the Siera standard. Jarrod has previously worked alongside Brent and the Siera Team in a Site Management capacity before heading off to pursue a lifelong dream as a professional athlete. Jarrod believes that the rigours of construction and the management of trades, suppliers and staff, coupled with the demands of being a professional athlete, are skills that transfer seamlessly into the successful delivery of our developments.

OPERATIONS

Each residence is seamlessly brought to life through genuine community engagement, planning, leading design, and a quality that transcends through to processes and communications with our clients and strategic partners. Our in-house team works collectively behind the scenes to ensure that each project we deliver is a true depiction of the who we are as a company and the experiences that have moulded Siera to be the developer it is today.

CONSTRUCTION

High quality is synonymous with the Siera brand. Our experience and growth in construction that has been gained across our developments informs our knowledge and level of craftsmanship. We continue to manage all aspects of construction through our in-house team.
